My story began in December 2021 when it became a legal requirement in QLD, Australia, to receive the Covid Vaccine as a teacher. At the time I was working as a primary school teacher and my husband was the Deputy Principal. We had three children living at home and a mortgage so like many others felt there was little choice but to get the vaccine and continue working. Neither of us felt comfortable given it's rushed nature, however the Government assured us all it was "safe and effective". How wrong they were and how naive we were to believe this. After the vaccine, I collapsed straight away and it took the doctor and a few nurses quite a while to bring me to. They called for the urgent care equipment and my husband said I looked like I was dead with my eyes wide open yet totally unconscious. When they finally brought me around I felt weak and disoriented. For the next few days I felt like I would faint unless I lay flat and my heart started doing very strange things...racing and skipping beats. I was scared and unsure what was happening.

Over the next few months my health deteriorated severely as I started to lose feeling in my limbs, had tremors and severe dizziness. I had migraines and blurred vision. I couldn't eat without feeling like I'd throw up. I had a rash on my body that was severely itchy but when I itched it, my skin bled underneath (a classic sign of vasculitis). I had severe heart palpitations and arrythmias and couldn't stand or walk without feeling like I'd faint. I'd later discover I'd developed Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), pericarditis, and severe mirco clotting of the blood causing extremely low oxygen (my cardiologist said he'd never seen oxygen so low in a patient not in ICU). I thought I was going to die every day for at least a year and a half. I thought my heart would give up. It was terrifying. It was only thanks to a team of amazing health specialists including my functional medicine doctor and my naturopath who specialised in treating vaccine injury that I started to see some improvements. This was after about 18 months of pure hell. Throughout this journey I saw a cardiologist, two neurologists, an immunologist, several doctors and naturopaths in my quest to find out what was wrong and how I could get better. This cost thousands of dollars and treatments cost even more. For those who perhaps doubt that conditions could be caused by the vaccine, or that my condition was from the vaccine, I have several doctors/specialists letters that verify this and can provide to any media organisation or similar who wishes to have documented proof.
